Avisoft UltraSoundGate Player
| UltraSoundGate Player is an USB-based playback device for replaying ultrasonic signals at a sampling rate of 200 kHz. This rugged and compact bus-powered device has an integrated power amplifier and comes with an appropriate ultrasound speaker. It was specifically designed for replaying animal ultrasound communication signals under field conditions. |

Software support
The Avisoft-RECORDER software fully supports the UltraSoundGate Player hardware. Playing a .wav file can be initiated by dragging the desired file into the RECORDER application window. A powerful play list feature enables playback experiments in an automated way. Several sound files can be selected into a play list that defines the playback sequence. The play list is constructed by simple drag&drop operations. A loop option enables long-term playback. A "randomize" option allows playing the selected files in a random sequence. The playback features can be used in parallel and independent from the recording mode of Avisoft-RECORDER.
The Avisoft SASLab Pro sound analysis software (or other sound processing tools) can be used to prepare the required sound files with a sampling rate of 200 kHz by re-sampling. The USG Player digital output channel state can be editited from the waveform/spectrogram display. SASLab Pro also provides powerful tools for synthesizing artificial sounds (or modifying natural ones). |

| Thanks to the device-independent sound driver available in the Windows operating system, any other sound application (including custom-written programs) could be used to play .wav sound files through the UltraSoundGate Player. |
