Desktop ultrasound acquisition systems

For stationary applications in the laboratory (especially for recording rodent vocalizations) we can offer several less expensive solutions. These turnkey systems consist of a high-speed PCI-bus soundcard, electret microphones, microphone cables, pre-amplifiers and the Avisoft-RECORDER software.

Ultrasound speaker This rugged ultrasound speaker (3...70 kHz, 5 W, 4 Ohm) with SPEAKON connector and cable (5 m) can be used for playback experiments in conjunction with the high-speed soundcard. Additionally, an appropriate power amplifier with extended frequency range is required (e.g. TEAC A-H300). The Avisoft-RECORDER software may be used for playback (play list feature; simultaneous recording / playback ...) .
